The Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill is a profoundly important and sensitive issue that affects many people deeply. Recognising the complexity and emotional nature of this topic, I am committed to ensuring that the voices of people in Worsley & Eccles are heard clearly before I make any final decisions in Parliament.

To gather a wide range of views from across the community, I launched an online consultation, which remains open and can be accessed here: https://forms.gle/F8fuFvZq7LXx3gXr9. This consultation offers residents a chance to share their thoughts, experiences, and concerns in a safe and confidential way.

So far, over 150 local residents have responded, and I am incredibly grateful for the honest and thoughtful contributions I have received. The depth of insight shared is helping to inform my understanding of how this Bill will impact people in our community. Every response is being carefully considered as I continue to listen and learn.

I want to thank everyone who has taken the time to complete the consultation, write to me, or engage in discussion about this important issue. Your input is invaluable in helping me represent Worsley & Eccles effectively and with compassion.

If you haven’t yet had a chance to contribute, I encourage you to participate in the consultation. It remains open and your views matter greatly as the Bill moves towards its final stage in the House of Commons.
