The Women’s Rugby World Cup trophy has been on display in Parliament as anticipation builds for the upcoming tournament, set to be the biggest in the competition’s history.
Michael Wheeler, MP for Worsley & Eccles, praised the incredible growth of the women’s game and highlighted the importance of local support for women and girls in sport.
